USL graduate tops October 2013 CPA Board Exam
The University of Saint Louis takes pride in producing the topnotcher in the recently concluded Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination in the person of Jackson Castillejos Apostol who garnered 93.86% rating.
Apostol is the former Governor of the School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA), who, despite this role, was able to balance it with his academics as he graduated with Academic Distinction.
Apostol joins the roster of first placers that USL has produced: Engr. Sonny Mateo, 2011 Geodetic Engineer Board Exam; Ritchie Jackson Padilla, 2008 CPA Board Exam; Engr. Victoriano Abana, 2006 Electronics Engineer Board Exam; Engr. Nazario Galang, 1999 Geodetic Engineer Board Exam; and Engr. Fernando Verbo, 1993 Geodetic Engineer Board Exam.
Meanwhile, USL’s passing percentage for first takers is 84.78%. The University’s overall rating is 75.47%, higher than the national passing rate of 40.84%.
