TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAM

The Teacher Education Program (TEP) aims to:

  1. develop Education students’ attitudes and values for them to be effective Christian educators and living witnesses anchored on the Louisian core values and the CICM charism;
  2. engage education students for them to develop skills/ competencies responsive to the needs of the academe/ industry;
  3. provide holistic pre-service teacher experiences on the rudiments of teaching for them to respond to the demands of diverse learners and the complex teaching-learning process influenced by a technological world;

 

Liberal Arts Program

THE LIBERAL ARTS PROGRAM AIMS TO:

  1. provide extensive opportunities and exposures for students to gain wisdom of the law and the different elements and forces of the society to make them competent in the field of legal management and political science;
  2. 2.  immerse students in the actual practice of theories/ concepts in Mass Communication, for them to develop the competencies required from mass media practitioners;
  3. 3.  train students to have extensive knowledge, skills and attitudes in the field of psychology so that they may facilitate career advancement and improve interpersonal relationship across cultural and national boundaries;
  4. involve students in critical, reflective, creative and constructive thinking committed to the advancement of a comprehensive education and holistic human development founded on a solid Christian formation.
