The School of Education, Arts and Sciences envisions to become a recognized center of excellence in Teacher Education, Arts and Sciences, and commits itself to the liberating mission of Christ for the integral human development of Christ-like professionals and leaders for social transformation.
Mission
The School of Education, Arts and Sciences (SEAS) commits itself to provide responsive undergraduate programs in Teacher Education, Arts and Sciences through its dedicated effort toward relevant education and Christ-centered transformation.
It aims to:
- Ensure relevant General Education Curriculum anchored on a Christ-centered, integral, and community-oriented Christian formation and competency-based training for undergraduate studies;
- Foster critical and dynamic social conscience to develop educators, human resource managers, psychologists, political scientists, legal and mass media practitioners to become agents of personal, Christian renewal and social formation;
- Advance through skillful research work and apply new knowledge to improve the quality of education and to effectively respond to the changing societal needs and conditions;
- Integrate in the curriculum and instill proper motivation for opportunities to actualize and enrich classroom-based learning through active and effective involvement in community extension services and varied programs within and outside the school.
